Legal & Policies
The fine print, without the traps.
We're local-first, so most of what you'd worry about in a cloud SaaS doesn't apply here. Read it anyway, it's short.
Privacy
Operator Co sells downloadable digital goods and agency services. We collect the minimum needed to deliver them:
- Store orders: processed by Gumroad. We receive your email and order record so we can send you the product files. We do not receive or store your payment details.
- Newsletter: your email only. One weekly send, unsubscribe in one click. We never sell or share it.
- Agency work: any client data you share lives on the deployment you choose: your hardware (Model B) or our isolated instance (Model A). We do not train on it and do not ship it to third-party LLMs.
We do not run third-party ad trackers on this site. Analytics, when present, are first-party and anonymized.
Terms of Service
By purchasing a product or engaging a service you agree to the following:
- License: digital kits are sold as a single-seat license for your own use. You may use the systems you build, but you may not resell the kits or pass them off as your own product.
- No warranty: products are provided as-is. They're build guides and code; your environment is yours. We'll help you debug within reason, but we can't guarantee a specific GPU or OS behaves.
- Agency scope: paid work is defined by a written statement of work. Anything outside it is a new engagement.
Refund Policy
Because digital goods are delivered immediately and can't be "returned," all sales are final. Two exceptions:
- The Local Stack Audit is free, no refund needed.
- If a paid kit is broken on delivery (missing files, won't run as documented), tell us within 14 days and we'll fix it or refund it. A "changed my mind" refund is not something we do.
Business Contact
For anything legal, a refund request, or a scoped build:
- Email: hello@runoperatorco.com
- Business site: runoperatorco.com
- Or use the contact form.
We answer within two business days. For time-sensitive production issues on an active engagement, use the channel named in your statement of work.
